Classes: 15 Hours / Week
Minimum Level Required: Intermediate
TPC is designed for intermediate and advanced students who plan to study in an English speaking country and want to prepare for the TOEFL iBT during their stay at the University of Toronto. Throughout the course, students learn test taking strategies and develop the skills necessary for success on the TOEFL iBT. At the end of the course, students take the TOEFL iBT Complete Practice Test and receive their practice test scores.
Please note that this course is highly focused on test preparation and may not be
suitable for students who do not intend to take the TOEFL in the near future.
Evaluation and Certificate
At the end of the TOEFL iBT Preparation Course, students receive a personalized evaluation and those who succeed are rewarded a certificate of course completion from University of Toronto, New College.

The TOEFL Preparation course offers intensive training for students planning to take the TOEFL iBT test. Students will be introduced to the reading, listening, speaking and writing sections of the test, learn tips and strategies for success, and complete daily practice tests, with individualized feedback on both speaking and writing. Practice testing is done both on paper and online. At the end of the course, students take a complete practice test from TOEFL Practice Online under authentic test conditions. In addition to their IEP course certificate, students will be provided with a printout of their official TOEFL Practice Online results.
In order to receive an IEP course certificate, students must:
- actively participate in class activities and practice tests.
- complete the TOEFL Practice Online test.
