IELTS Preparation Course (IPC)

Age: 15-18
Course Length: 4 Weeks
Classes: 15 Hours / Week
Minimum Level Required: Intermediate

IPC focuses on developing the skills that are essential for success on the IELTS Academic Test while also preparing students for the communication demands at an English language university. Students focus on a variety of critical reading, discussion, essay writing, and academic listening skills. Practice tests are used throughout the program.

Please note that this course is highly focused on test preparation and may not be
suitable for students who do not intend to take the IELTS test in the near future.

Evaluation and Certificate: At the end of each Course, students receive a personalized evaluation and those who succeed are rewarded a certificate of course completion from University of Toronto, New College.

Course Overview

The IELTS Test Preparation course offers intensive training for students planning to take the IELTS test. Students will be introduced to the reading, listening, speaking and writing sections of the test and learn tips and strategies for success. Daily practice is an essential component of the course, and students will receive personalized feedback regularly on both writing and speaking. On the last day of the course, students will complete an entire practice IELTS test under authentic conditions, with an external speaking examiner.

In order to receive an IEP course certificate, students must:

  1. actively participate in class activities and practice tests.
  2. complete the final practice IELTS test.
